Last Month and a Bit...

It's now July and I havent posted anything here for a while, so I thought I had better add something to let you know I am still around. Tarsh and I have been keeping very quiet over the past couple of months. We have some busy times coming up, trip down the South Island, a first for Tarsh. I also have a couple of trips across the ditch for work and pleasure, August and November. Anyway a couple of random photos of the last month and a bit...

Otautu Bay Fishing Trip

On the Weekend Tarsh and I travelled to Otautu Bay on the Coromandel Peninsula to catch up with her Mum and Dad. On Saturday Pam, Rae, Tarsh and I managed to get out fishing whilst Graeme competed in a 25km mountain bike ride. A perfect day on the water with around 10 snapper. Sunday was a little bit drizzly but we still managed to get out on the boat with Graeme joining us, we caught around 4 size, Not to count the numerous under size snapper we pulled up. A few photos from the drive, campsite and the boat....

Valentines Day

Tarsh and I spent the 14th of February 2007 at One Tree Hill. Picnic and champers were enjoyed on a grassy bank watching the sun set. A few photos of the evening...

Stoney Batter @ Waiheke Island

Whilst on Waiheke Island we visited Stoney Batter & to my understanding it is an old war post as to which the kiwi's built to protect Auckland from unwanted ocean vistors. It consists of hilly wine country with Old Gun Turret posts which are connected by a series of tunnels, really quite amazing considering the rest of the world probably didnt know New Zealand existed in 1940... http://www.villapacifica.co.nz/gallery/pages/stoney_batter.htm
It was a great day with beautiful views towards the cormandel peninsula and the Great Barrier Islands, the countryside was scattered with big boulders from a nearby volcano many years ago..

In contrast to tarsh's sheep comment in Australia,

it didn't take me long to find a sheep that was shagged...
